WINTER CLINIC DATES (Run by Jim Cosman and Mark Goacher)
Returning for 2010, the free clinics will help familiarize House League girls with the sport of Softball and prepare them for the upcoming season. Girls are grouped with their peers and work confidently with a coach to develop the fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting and fielding. The drop-in program is 60 minutes in length and offers the assistance of Oakville Angels players from the Oakville Angels Rep program. The free clinics are designed for girls in the House League divisions.
The proposed dates this year will range from
Saturday January 9th to April 17th.
Age Groups and times will be posted on the Oakville Girls Softball Web Page.

Advanced Training Programs (Run by Martin Rutledge)
This year the OGSA is offering advanced Softball instruction for a nominal cost. This winter training program will focus on improving physical abilities, leadership and developing each girl into a well rounded player. Different from the free clinics, the winter training is a progressive format, utilizing all necessary techniques
and equipment to vastly accelerate your daughters Fitness, Fielding, Hitting, Pitching, Base running, Positional and Situational skills.
This registered House League program runs 90 to 120 minutes in length and is facilitated by an experienced core group of REP, Select and House League coaches providing a 5-1 player-to-coach ratio that will allow for priority learning.
Watch for the dates here.
Sorry there will be limited space for participants.
